Ohio Star Quilt Jacket

Dusty blue and red quilt featuring a variation of the Ohio Star quilt block. The Ohio Star quilt block appeared regularly in Depression era and post-Depression quilts of the 1930s. It was a popular pattern among Scottish and Irish immigrants in the Midwest and frequently used by Amish quilters. This quilt was sourced from an estate sale and is in extremely good condition. Dainty floral prints are arranged in an interesting mixture of thick stripes and stars.
